Thank you for your interest and enthusiasm. I’m excited to work together with this group of artists and authors to produce our very first issue of The Industrious Inkwell Art & Lit Magazine. Below I’ve listed what you need to know in order to get started. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions that are not answered by this document.
- We accept original art, poetry, and prose. The poetry/prose may not exceed 5,000 words.
- All work should be God honoring & family friendly.
- Submissions should be ready for “print”. We reserve the right the edit if necessary.
- If we have an overwhelming number of contributions, we will limit each individual to 3 works.
- Along with your entry, please include 2-3 sentences about you as an artist/author. For example, you could include your home state, hobbies, favorite book or painting, or a brief explanation of what inspires you. Be sure to use 12-point font in black ink that’s readable. Art can be black & white or colored.
- We publish 4 times a year: May, August, November, February
- Entries must be submitted by week before the launch date (the 15th of all of the aforementioned months).
