Thank you for your interest and enthusiasm. I’m excited to work together with this group of artists and authors to produce our very first issue of The Industrious Inkwell Art & Lit Magazine. Below I’ve listed what you need to know in order to get started. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions that are not answered by this document.
- You must be a homeschooled highschooler to submit your work.
- We accept original art, poetry, and prose. The poetry/prose may not exceed 2,500 words.
- All work should be God honoring & family friendly.
- Work will not be edited so submissions should be ready for “print”.
- If we have an overwhelming number of contributions, we will limit each individual to 3 works.
- Along with your entry, please include 2-3 sentences about you as an artist/author. For example, you could include your grade or age, home state, career aspiration, or a brief explanation of what inspires you. Be sure to use 12-point font in black ink that’s readable. Art can be black & white or colored.
- We publish 4 times a year: April, July, October, January
- Entries must be submitted by the 15th of the preceding month
- All submissions should be emailed to seschall.music@gmail.com
